BSS: Creating Intelligent Organizations with Prof. Tom Malone
Sold Out! As examples like Google and Wikipedia illustrate, new technologies now make it possible to harness the collective intelligence of huge numbers of people all over the world in new ways. This presentation will suggest how businesses, other organizations, and societies can take advantage of these possibilities. Topics to be addressed include: How can we measure collective intelligence in the first place? What are the key design patterns (or “genes”) that appear repeatedly in some of today’s most innovative organizations? And how can we use crowd sourcing to address complex societal problems like climate change?
