|Thank you for your interest, we have reach capacity for this event. We look forward to seeing you there. If you missed out on registering this year, please join us next year or feel free to register on the Boston FIRST site (http://www.bostonfirst.org/) and feel free to attend this event on your own.|
The MIT Club of Boston is pleased to invite you to perhaps the most compelling youth sporting event in our area – the FIRST Robotics Competition at Boston University Agganis Arena on Saturday, March 23 – where student teams will be competing for a right to move on to the National Championships. Join other local alumni and robotics celebrities in our private reception area where you will have an “all access” pass to tours of the pit area.
Register now to reserve your spot and take part in this exciting program which hopes to “Create a world where science and technology are celebrated... where young people dream of becoming science and technology heroes." This is a fantastic family event, where you can reminisce about 2.70 contests of the past and show your kids just how much fun (and loud!) engineering can be. You will be privileged to watch these young science, engineering, and technology leaders of tomorrow show off their skills, imaginations, and Gracious Professionalism.™ Last year’s competition drew over 6,000 spectators – so you’ll be glad to have access to our private area for mingling and tours.
