can bring a lot of experience to the Boston Energy Series (BES). He already has lots of ideas
of what to do and is incredibly organized. He will be re-energizing
the committee and hopes to bring new ideas to the field of energy. I

MIT Club of Boston Scholarship Fund

Date: 12/14/2012
The MIT Club of Boston Scholarship Fund was established in 1985 with donations from the MIT Club of Boston. Over the years, 14 different students have received support from the MIT Club of Boston Scholarship Fund. Like all students at MIT who receive need-based scholarship support, these students would not have been able to afford to attend MIT without financial assistance. The MIT Club of Boston is proud to support these students.

Ashley Santelises '16 is the newest recipient of support from the MIT Club of Boston Scholarship Fund. Ashley is a freshman from Roslindale, MA. Like about 13% of her classmates, she is the first generation in her family to attend college.

Ashley participated in MIT's Minority Introduction to Engineering and Science (MITES) program the summer before her senior year in high school. She relishes the upbeat culture at MIT with many intelligent and innovative people who want to make a positive impact in the world and is considering majoring in Brain and Cognitive Sciences along with Biomedical Engineering.

Ms. Santelises is very grateful for the scholarship support that will enable her to accomplish her dreams and make positive contributions to society. The MIT Club of Boston is very proud to be providing her with that support.
